Location: Charles Hotel can be found at Hegyalja út (Street) 23. It is a modern 6 floor building on the side of Gellért Hill, 2 km far from center of Budapest, easily reached by 4 bus lines. Charles Hotel can accommodate 150 guests. There are 45 comfortable Standard Studios and 20 which belong to Business category satisfying all needs. The majority of rooms are for two guests (extra beds available) but there are also a few 3 and 4 bedded apartments.
Reception (cash desk) is available 24 hours. Guests are offered the following services: information, Internet services, safe, photocopying, fax, laundry cleaning, dry-cleaning, postcards, stamps, public transport tickets, arrangement and sale of city tour programs, whole day excursions and ship journeys. At the reception desk they speak: English, German, Italian, French, Russian, Bulgarian, and Serbian.
Standard Studios: 32m2 studios consists of a hall, room, bathroom and a fully equipped kitchenette where you'll find kitchenware, cutlery apart from the oven and the fridge which serves as a mini bar as well. Stepping into the hall the bathroom and kitchen are on one side and the other, while the room is in the front. The beds in the room can be easily separated if necessary. Each room is furnished with closets, bedside tables, bedside lamps, armchairs with a small table, TV.
Deluxe Studios: 32m2 studios consist of a room and a fully equipped kitchenette in a single air-space and a bathroom. In the kitchenette you'll find kitchenware, cutlery apart from the hot plates and the fridge which serves as a mini bar as well. The beds in the room can be easily separated if necessary. Each room is furnished with closets, bedside tables, bedside lamps, armchairs with a small table, TV. A breakfast table with chairs separates the kitchenette from the room. These studios were created in 2000 - 2001 by the reconstruction of the standard studios giving an even more airy feeling. The materials, draperies and furniture used in these studios are of a higher standard. The walls are decorated with the artworks of Tamás Ajtai and Zoltán Székács.
Restaurant: Charles Hotel's János Restaurant is open every day from 12-24 hours. It is offer traditional Hungarian dishes and international culinary specialties. Half board or full board is available in the hotel. Breakfast is served from 7 AM to 10 AM.
Price of the studios includes the cleaning, and the change of towels every second day and change of sheets every fourth day, the use of electricity, water, TV, the Value Added Tax.
Breakfast is available upon request for EUR 8/guest.
Charles Hotel has got its own car garage which can be used at EUR 8/day/car.

IF YOU ARRIVE BY PLANE OR TRAIN: You can book our pre-organized comfortable transfer services for a fixed price. In this case the driver will wait for you at the arrival side of the airport or train station holding a sign with your name on it and take you straight to the hotel. You can easily book this transfer with the help of our Budapest hotels transfer form.
You may also use the Official Minibus Service at the airport or at the train station. It is a little cheaper in case of 1 or 2 passengers, (for 3 passengers our service is cheaper) but you have to wait for the bus and it might go to other hotels as well before yours.
We do not recommend simply taking a taxi at the airport or at the train stations!
Charles Hotel has excellent traffic. Downtown or the subway can be reached with a 3-minute ride on bus number: 8, 78 or 112, arriving every five minutes almost the entire day. Guest arriving from highways M1-M7 can reach Charles Hotel in 2-4 minutes from the boundary of Budapest.

Bookings for 1-6 days: Reservations may be cancelled up to midnight on the day prior to arrival; otherwise 1 night of accommodation is to be charged.
Bookings for 7-21 days: Reservations may be cancelled 2 days prior to arrival; otherwise 2 nights of accommodation are to be charged.
Bookings longer than 21 days: Reservations may be cancelled 7 days prior to arrival; otherwise 7 nights of accommodation are to be charged.
